What we collect
Checkout collects your name and email, an optional phone number, selected products, purchase acknowledgements and order/payment references. We keep support correspondence, download-access records where needed and essential operational audit records. Historical accounts, food-preference orders and calculator sign-ups may contain information provided through those services.
Why we use it
We use information to process payments, fulfil purchases, provide support, protect the store and meet recordkeeping obligations. Ready-made download orders do not require body measurements or medical details. Do not submit unnecessary health information in support messages.
Service providers
Yoco handles card payments and receives information needed for payment processing. Resend sends transactional emails and receives the recipient address and email content. Our hosting and error-monitoring providers process operational information. These services may process information outside South Africa; we apply appropriate safeguards and limit sharing to the purposes described here. SlimShape does not receive your full card details.
Cookies and local storage
Essential cookies keep account and operations sessions signed in. Your browser stores product IDs for your shopping bag. We do not automatically enrol purchasers in a marketing list. The existing educational tools and optional sign-up forms explain their own inputs.
Retention and your rights
We retain records while needed for fulfilment, support, security and applicable legal or financial obligations. Email info@slimshape.co.za to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise an objection. Some financial records must be retained despite a deletion request.
